Let us all give thanks to Jesus for the many blessings he has bestowed on each and every one of us. I personaly thank him for the friendship of one of my best friends, Matthew J Cochran who is always there when I need a boost of spiritual support. May Mat and his family always be blessed.

Thanks, Dave. That was sweet, man. I don't know that I've always been there, but I'm trying to get better about that.

I think there are a lot of people out there in dire economic circumstances that need a lot of prayer. I will be praying that our nation survives this hard time in our economy and becomes stronger and more united through it.

We also ought to remember those affected by the storms in Texas. Some lost every earthly possession, as their homes were destroyed. Some cannot return. I pray that the Lord will be with them and bring them comfort and I pray that they will find the necessary physical needs that they need as well.

One of our ongoing prayers is that our house in Texas will sell to the right family, and that it will be the perfect house for them. Of course, we are also praying that it sells soon so that we can be released from the burden of the mortgage of a house that we aren't living in that is over 1,000 miles away.
